Jurassic Park is not on some far distant island, it’s a geopark here in the Swabian Alb. You won’t come face to face with a live dinosaur, but you will discover other exciting things in the geopark, such as remarkable fossil digs, volcanic craters, Ice Age cave sites, karst springs and typical landscape formations, as geology is brought to life. Museums, discovery trails, sites of geological interest and the GeoPark information centres give visitors an insight into the past.
